The February Love List

It's been a good while since I've done any sort of favourites post, and while I'm pretty loyal to the products I use, I've accumulated a load of new faves in the last few months that I want to share with you all!

The Wet Brush / I actually got this in one of my Birchboxes a couple months ago, and I'm so chuffed with it! I'd read so many blog posts and seen so many Youtubers rave about the Wet Brush, but a bloody hairbrush couldn't be that good right?! WRONG - it's better! I constantly have my hair in a tangled mess on the top of my head and this brushes it out with ease, not to mention you can brush your hair when it's wet (who'd have thought it?!) and there's next to no breakage and leaves the hair feeling silky soft. WINNER!

Freedom Brush Bath / I don't know about you but I HATE cleaning my makeup brushes. It always seems to take forever and I just simply can't be arsed. One day on a random Superdrug binge though, I found the Freedom Brush Bath and it's made my life so much easier and cleaning my brushes literally takes 2 or 3 minutes. Basically it's a big block of soap that you swirl your wet brushes around on and it cleans them pretty much instantly, and it smells delightful too. Such a life saver for the lazy.

Sleek All Night Long palette / Another purchase brought on by a random Superdrug binge. I'd heard so many people rave about Sleek eyeshadow palette and since I own pretty much the whole Makeup Revolution collection, I thought I'd give another brand a try. There's a brand spanking new Sleek counter in my local Superdrug so I thought I'd pick myself up the All Night Long palette and it's the only palette I've been using since. It's got a mix of matte and shimmer shades and the shadows are just so buttery and blend like an absolute dream. I'm so excited to pick up more from their range!

Clinique Superbalanced Silk Foundation / I've gone through my fair share of luxury foundations, but none have impressed me more than this bad boy. It's basically the perfect full coverage foundation and believe me when I say, it lasts ALL FRICKIN' DAY - even on my horrendously dry skin! The colour range is fab (although maybe a little pink toned for certain people) and probably my only complaint about it is it doesn't come with a pump, which I can just about overlook. Sadly, mine has pretty much run out, but I'll be repurchasing for sure.

NYX Matte Finish Setting Spray / The perks of dry skin and long hours in a hectic job means that my makeup sometimes doesn't stay put and look as fabulous as I'd like it to half the time. I took advantage of there being a NYX counter on a recent trip to Leeds, and again on a whim picked up the NYX Matte Finish Setting Spray. Now, I've not tried the famous Urban Decay one enough times to comment on how good that is but I'd bloody well go for this one anytime as it's a quarter of the price and it holds my makeup perfectly in place pretty much all day!

L'Oreal Elvive Fibrology Air Shampoo & Conditioner / I am VERY picky about what shampoo and conditioner combo I use and I rarely change it out, but after seeing a few of my favourite Youtubers rave about the Fibrology Air range (and it being on offer in Tesco), I thought I'd go out on a limb and give this a try. I didn't even realise when I bought it that it's actually a thickening range, which turned out to be exactly what my hair needed, and I'm just in love with this. It's cheap as chips really for a massive bottle and it makes your hair smell DIVINE as well as keeping it clean and voluminous for days. Yaaaaaaaasss.

Other loves / A couple of other things I've been head over heels for lately I can't show you but I can sure as hell rave all day about them. Firstly, can we just talk about Scandal and how much of a babe Olivia Pope is? If you've never watched it before, give it a go! It's smart, it's sexy and it's so bloody addictive. I didn't get on with it at first but a month or so later I watched it again and I'm hooked (and so is my hubby!)
Another love lately is yoga. I've always dabbled here and there in a bit of yoga but recently I've been more committed to practise and it's definitely paying off and I'm seeing and feeling the benefits. You all know how much I love Yoga With Adriene, but seriously you should all check out her Youtube channel and give her some love!
A few blog/youtube loves this month are Lydia Millen, Elle Next Door, Amelia Liana and Pint Sized Beauty. I just love all these girls and what they do and I've been so inspired by each and everyone lately. Give them some love too!
