Beauty: The Holy Beauty Grail Of January

If there was ever a product I'm glad I gave into the hype for, it's the Pixi Glow Tonic.
I think every blogger has a bottle of this sitting on their skincare shelf and after using it for the last month or so after FINALLY caving in and buying, I can bloody well see why.

Firstly, can we just talk packaging? It may not be rose gold and it may not be marble, but it definitely doesn't look out of place on an Instagram feed. While I'm a little disappointed that the product inside isn't actually neon orange (although would it be a little weird if it was?) I love love love the orange and green bottle that is so iconic of Pixi cosmetics and it definitely brightens up my bathroom.

Onto for what you all came to read about though...the product itself. I've never been one that has seen the point nor benefit of a toner other than to lazily get rid of leftover makeup rather than doing a second cleanse and I've certainly never been one to pay just shy of £20 for one either.
I will admit I bought this with the help of some ASOS A-List voucher things, so it ended up being a total steal but once my bottle is finished, I'll hand over that £20 without hesitation to repurchase a new one.

As someone who suffers with dry skin and the odd sensitivity patch, this is just perfect. Even though it's an exfoliating toner, it's extremely gentle despite containing glycolic acid that can be so harsh in other products. It also contains a calming mix of aloe vera and ginseng too, which all mix together to create the toner of dreams. I find this best works in a morning after a quick cleanse, to really wake up the skin and prep it for the day ahead, and it gives it such a lovely and natural glow which makes it the perfect base for applying makeup. It doesn't sting at all, which I've found with other toning products, but it still draws out most of the skins impurities and nasty bits without being too harsh.

The smell is just as divine. I don't know if it's the aloe vera or what but it smells divine and just so clean. Add into all that, that it's completely paraben free and it's not tested on animals of any kind, and I think we have a total winner. Plus if Caroline Hirons says it's good, then who am I to disagree?

If you haven't tried the Pixi Glow Tonic before, I'd definitely recommend it. It's perfect for all skin types, and while I'm not one to follow trends and hypes, I'm willing to make an exception for this one and I'm yet to find anything that compares.

Have you tried this before?
What's been your holy grail product this month?
