Beauty: The 'Leave It Until Last Minute' Beauty Gift Guide

If you're anything like me, you'll be well aware that it's less than a week before Christmas and you still haven't bought a single effing present and are probably cursing yourself that you've left it to last minute AS USUAL. I was scouring the internet looking for gifts for my gal pals and female loved ones and thought I'd put together a last minute beauty gift guide to help you guys find something for your best girls that will still arrive in time for Christmas! There's a bit of something on there for everyone with lots of different budgets and I've tried to find products that everyone would love to receive - and would arrive in time for the big day!

1. Emma Hardie Merrily Moringa bauble - now £12.75 on Cult Beauty (also available on Feel Unique) / 2. Too Faced Sweet Peach palette - £39 from Too Faced / 3. St. Tropez Self Tan Starter Kit - £15 from Feel Unique / 4. L'Occitane Captivating Pivore Flora Collection gift set - £49 from L'Occitane / 5. Lush Golden Wonder gift set - £9.95 from Lush / 6. Oskia Merry & Bright Christmas Cracker - £18.50 from Space NK / 7. NARS Duo Eyeshadow palette (various shades available) - £25 from Feel Unique / 8. Spectrum Black Marbelous Brush Collection - £69.99 from Spectrum / 9. Jo Malone Candle (various scents and sizes available) - from £42 from Jo Malone (also available at John Lewis)

A brand that is one of the best for gift sets and boxes at this time of year is L'Occitane and I thought this Captivating Pivoine Flora Collection gift box would be a great one to start with if you're stuck for a present for mum or grandma or anyone who loves peonies! It's got everything - a perfume, a hand cream, a shower gel - and it comes in a gorgeous box (that isn't too hard to wrap either, winner!)
For the skincare lovers, why not treat them to a mini version of their favourite product? Oskia and Emma Hardie do adorable little gift sets that double up as decorations! Who wouldn't wait to find the cutest mini Renaissance Cleansing Gel in their stocking?!

If you're buying for a makeup fanatic, the Too Faced Sweet Peach palette is perfect! It's a bit more on the pricey side at £39 but would be perfect for a main present (and if anyone wants to buy me one then feel free...). If you're looking for more of a little stocking filler though, maybe one of the NARS due eyeshadow palettes would be a good option - especially as a secret santa gift for someone with luxurious taste! They come in loads of different shades and the packaging alone is GORGEOUS.
I also love the Spectrum Black Marbelous brush collection, which would be a fab accompaniment to any of the palettes I've mentioned and would look bloody mavellous (shit joke, alert) on your dressing table!

We all have a friend who can't live without their fake tan, so the St. Tropez starter kit set is a great option, especially if you're on a budget as it's only £15! It's got some of their best products in to help maintain a natural looking tan and since it's St. Tropez, you know it's going to be good!
If you're one of those that can't be arsed to wrap their presents and wants a ready made jobby then I think a Lush gift set would be perfect! I've chosen the Golden Wonder gift box as it's under a tenner but any of their sets would go down well and there's something for all ages too.
If you've got a higher budget, and someone with more luxurious taste though, treat them to a Jo Malone candle. They come in a massive range of scents and sizes and just for the gift box alone I think anyone would be over the moon to open one on Christmas day!

10. Soap & Glory Soaper Spa set - £20 from Boots / 11. Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish - £22.75 from Liz Earle (also available from John Lewis) / 12. Jo Malone Cologne (available in various scents and sizes) - from £43 from Jo Malone / 13. L'Occitane Shower Gel Collection - £22 from L'Occitane (also available at Debenhams) / 14. Wet Brush (available in various colours and sizes) - from £6.99 from Boots (also available from Feel Unique) / 15. Pixi Best Of Bright gift set - £20 from Marks & Spencer (also available from Cult Beauty) / 16. Viktor & Rolf Bon Bon Limited Edition EDP - £75 from House of Fraser / 17. Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick (in various shades) - £23 from Charlotte Tilbury (also available at John Lewis and Selfridges) / 18. Essie Crack 'A' Colour gift set - £20 from Boots / 19. Diptyque Candle Epices et Delices (in various sizes)  - from £28 from Space NK

I don't know about you but I don't think I've gone a Christmas without getting some sort of Soap & Glory gift set, and the Soaper Spa has you covered with the best of their usual bath and body products that everyone loves! It's only £20 too, so again, great for those with a budget.
It's pretty much mandatory to get some sort of perfume or fragrance as a gift and I've picked Viktor & Rolf's Bon Bon EDP as one of the best at this time of year! If you're quick, you can get this gorgeous limited edition bottle design from House of Fraser which is a special one for Christmas, although the original packaging is just as pretty! Going back to Jo Malone, if it's not a candle you're after, then their colognes are definitely another option to treat the special woman (or man!) in your life! Obviously these are pricier but you get what you pay for in my eyes and I think everyone deserves a little touch of Jo Malone at Christmas time.

Again, a couple more skincare bits to mention are the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish, and the Pixi Best of Bright gift set. Both are brands that I love, and both are guaranteed to be well received on Christmas Day! Again, if you're quick, you can get the Liz Earle in the limited edition Sweet Orange & Clove scent which smells AMAZING, and the set I've pictured above comes with a couple of the muslin cloths as well as the cleanser, which makes a fab gift for the beauty junkie.
The Pixi set contains smaller versions of all their cult classics which would be great to gift to a lover of the brand - or to give to someone who's never tried it before!

Another little gift set from L'Occitane I love is their Shower Gel collection. If you're playing it safe and buying for that one who has EVERYTHING then this is a fab one to go for as the packaging is gorgeous and the products and scents smell gorgeous.
I'm a sucker for all the novelty festive packaging that everything comes in at this time of year and the Essie Crack A Colour cracker is no exception! Essie polishes are amazing and they come in the best colours - and here you get 4 of the most festive ones in this cute little gift set! I actually have someone in mind with this and I think they'll love it!

A bit of a random but practical gift idea I had was getting someone a Wet Brush! I've only just started using mine at the end of this year and it's changed my life so I want to pass that onto someone else. They come in all sorts of sizes and colours, but I love this sparkly gold one the best.
Again, for those that appreciate a good candle, why not treat them to a fancy one from Diptyque? Their Christmas collection is still out and comes in 3 scents and colours, and even though they're bloody expensive as far as candles go, the packaging and jars they come in are gorgeous and you can use them as a cheeky brush holder later!

Lastly, you can't go wrong with a little slice of Charlotte Tilbury at Christmas time and anything from her makeup collection is sure to be opened with a big 'ol grin come Christmas morning. Personally, I love the Matte Revolution lipsticks which are the best I've EVER tried - but anything your gal is into would be a fab gift and everyone will love that rose gold packaging!

I hope you've found this little gift guide useful and for those struggling with the pressure of it being 5 EFFING DAYS UNTIL CHRISTMAS then I hope this has given you a little inspiration on what to buy the beauty junkies in your life!
