Life: Hello November

November.

Did I ACTUALLY just type that word?

Srsly can this year just slow down already because I swear I heard jingle bells ringing and the whispers of new years resolutions in the air.

Despite me wishing that time would just slow the F down, I can't help but completely and utterly adore this time of year and there's something to be said about the first day of every month and the fresh start that comes with it.
That being said, I thought up some lil goals and wishes for November and thought I'd share them with you!

- Spend more time with friends. My friends are bloody amazing but I am literally the worst at keeping contact. I'm so socially awkward at times and I find it hard to juggle keeping in touch with all of my friends at once but I've decided that November is the month to start making the first month and spending more time with them. So if you're my bestie and you're reading this, you best prepare for some well overdue girl time. (I'll bring the prosecco...)

- Spend more time with my mum. Again, I am the WORST at keeping in touch with people and my poor old mum probably knows this better than anyone!

- Get back into the gym. For reals. Actually, I was doing alright with this for the first couple of weeks of October and then just when I was starting to develop an ab or two, I had a silly little accident at work and now I'm off sick and can't work out. But once I'm fit, I'll be back in the gym raring to go and I'm not going to quit this time!

- Get a head start on my Christmas shopping. Ughhhhh I said the C word. But I'm sure I'm not the only one that intends to get a head start on Xmas shopping every single year then ends up doing a panicked dash on Christmas Eve resulting in the whole family having matching Primark Cosy Socks and a selection box. So this year I'm going to make a proper list and start getting everything ready early so I can have a stress free Christmas week.

- Have more quality 'me' time. In all fairness, having 2 weeks off work sick has given me PLENTY of 'me' time but it's something that normally falls by the wayside when I'm stuck in the middle of my normal day to day routine. So I'm vowing to myself to get my nails done more often and finally read some of those books that have been piling up on my bedside table.

- Blog a little more. It's the same old story every time. I get a massive wave of motivation, take a million blog photos, have a really good week of regular blog posts and networking and then bam...it's three weeks without a blog post and I'm out of the loop again. So this November I want to spend more time on my blog and really commit to getting good quality content out there. Who's with me gals?

That's about it for my November goals. I figured writing them down was the best way of helping me stick to them but I'll get back to you on the 1st of December and let you know how I've gotten on with them!

What are your goals and plans for November?

  1. Great post :) I really need to focus on 'me' time - I spend so much time working, that I don't get a chance to relax.
