The Sunday Post: Things That Made Me Happy This Week...

What made me happy this week...

- The gym reopened, woo! So sad but during the gym's closure while it had a refurb, I had well and truly let myself go so I've been really hammering myself and got back into a proper gym routine. Pairing that with eating healthy avec my new Deliciously Ella cookbook and I'll be a Victoria's Secret model in no time! Just a the short, stumpy variety...

- Surprise dinner! My lovely other half had been planning a surprise meal for weeks and for the life of me he would not tell me where we were going - so exciting! Well Thursday night was time to find out and after a mysterious little drive up the road, we arrived at an adorable country pub/restaurant in Sancton called The Star! It's been recommended in the Michelin guide, so as expected the food was AMAAAAZING! Boy did good.

- I have a little office! I took a trip to IKEA and bought myself a lovely little desk and chair - which I built all by myself might I add - and I've set up home in the spare room. I'm yet to sort it all out properly but I'm excited to have my own little blogging space instead of taking over our bedroom! Watch this space for new, exciting things to come...

  1. This is such a lovely post idea! I'm filling up with joy as we speak; I'll have to laugh at a toddler falling over to balance out my emotions.
I'm sure you haven't truly let yourself go, but sometimes all we need is to put on a few extra pounds to make us more determined and to mega-fuel our gym workouts!
I could totes be a Victoria Secrets model, if I wasn't like 5' and not at all appealing...
Have a great week! I'll be stalking back to see what you did next Sunday! xoxo

  7. I can't wait to get my office sorted in the next few weeks! It's so important to have a proper work space rather than being slumped over my laptop in bed..
