Those Sikkim Girls...

Who knew perfume could come in a tin?! I take my hat off to Lush yet again, as my new favourite comes in the form of Sikkim Girls - a solid perfume from their Gorilla Perfume range. It's an area of the store that I've never really explored before as I normally get too distracted by the amazing colours and smells of the bathbomb department, but at the recent Lush Hull blogger night (see my post here!), we were escorted over to the perfume section and I was finally introduced to what wonders Lush perfumes had to offer.

Described by the lovely Lush girls as a sophisticated sexy scent, the Sikkim Girls solid perfume* (£8 for 12g) is infused with exotic jasmine and frangipani absolutes, which make it smell ever so floral and ladylike. I'm normally put off by floral scents, as I prefer much sweeter varieties but there was something about this scent that just drew me in (i'm talking about you, sophisitcated sexy!), and I was sold straight away! Plus I feel like it smells a lot softer when applied to my skin and it is the perfect everyday scent that I can tell will become my signature within time!

What I really love though is how it smells differently on other people! I've been offering this out to anyone who will take it, and all of my friends love it, but for different reasons. On one it will be strong and floral and on another it will be soft and sweet - there's just no end to what this fragrance can do and I'm in love! It's super travel friendly too and so convenient to have in your pocket to apply throughout the day when you need a top up (especially in a job where you're running round like a mad woman and need a boost every couple of hours...bar work problems.)

I'd give Sikkim Girls a massive thumbs up and whether you're a floral scent fan or not, I urge you to go and check this out in store for yourself. With Lush's massive range of Gorilla Perfumes there is certain to be something for everyone, and Sikkim Girls will definitely be a favourite of mine for a long time to come.

Have you tried any of the Gorilla Perfumes? Which one is your favourite? Let me know in the comments below and don't forget to follow me on Bloglovin' if you'd like to stay up to date with my blog posts :)

Always, Alice x

  1. I haven't tried any of Lush's perfumes but I love the idea of a solid perfume so I'm definitely going to give this a sniff and a possible purchase next time I'm in town. Great post - lovely review x

  2. I've never tried any of Lush's perfumes...in fact, I've never even been in Lush! I know, it's inexcusable but it's always so packed and I hate crowds!

If you ever do make it to the States, make sure you go someplace in the midwest, but only in summer or fall! Chicago & Columbus are really cool cities.
