The Sunday Post: Things That Made Me Happy This Week

- The Lush Hull blogger event was this Thursday (read my post here!) and it was such a lovely night! It was the first blogger event I've had the pleasure of attending so it was a super exciting evening and couldn't have been happier that it was at my favourite stores ever! We were looked after so well by the lovely Lush girls and I finally got to meet some of the #Hullbloggers which was great too!

- Perfecting my driving...I had THE best driving lesson on Monday night and almost a week later I'm still buzzing from it! It was the time for learning how to reverse around a corner and let me just say that I bossed it! Definitely enjoying driving the second time round after my little break.

- Girl time! I went into town with my girls this week and it was nice to have some downtime and chill out with someone who isn't my other half (as much as I love him, he just ain't that good about talking periods and lady things...) We had Nandos and coffee and laughed so much and there were so many Australian accents going on...can't cope!

- I got my bake on this week and made some tasty banana bread to sell this weekend at work, which everyone said was delicious! Expect a recipe post coming soon....

- Got back into the gym! I've had a couple of fatty weeks off as life has gotten in the way for various reasons but last night me and my friend Emily powered through a 7 hour shift and hit the gym afterwards for the best workout I've had in ages! Here's to sticking to it this time!

Another week of 2015 gone, and it's March already...how did that happen?! I hope you've all had a lovely week too, let me know what made your week amazing in the comments below and as always don't forget to follow me on Bloglovin' if you want to stay up to date with my blog posts :)

Always, Alice x

  4. I used to work in Lush and I miss it even five years later! Well done on the reversing around a corner - that was the one manoeuvre I could never master when learning to drive. Thank goodness I didn't get it in my test or I would never have passed!!
