1. How many cups of tea do you have a day? How many sugars?
I'm more of a coffee kinda gal but I'll normally have a cup of tea in an evening. I've tried to be good and give up sugar, and I've succeeded in doing it with coffee, but in my tea I need to have at least 2 - I'm not sweet enough!
2. Favourite part of your roast?
Roast potatoes and mash, definitely! I'm a horrible excuse for a Yorkshire-woman and I hate Yorkshire puds, but everything else...come at me!
3. Favourite dunking biscuit?
Digestives. Boring but a favourite. And ginger nuts. And bourbons. I like biscuits, okay? Nothing with chocolate on though, I hate it when the chocolate melts and the biscuit goes all soggy!
4. Favourite quintessentially British pastime?
I'm not really sure about this one, maybe going to the seaside and walking on pebbly beaches with your fish and chips wrapped in newspaper. It would never be seaside weather, of course, normally it'd be freezing cold, but for pudding a Mr Whippy ice cream with a flake was a must!
5. Favourite word?
Scone. I don't think anything else springs to mind when I think of British words!
6. Cockney rhyme slang?
It's never something I use being from Yorkshire (we tend to just have our own language altogether), but in the pub I work at there are so many cockney customers and they cannot help themselves but say everything in cockney rhyming slang!
7. Favourite sweet?
Cola cubes! Or just anything that you can get in the old-fashioned sweet shops with the shelves piled high full of sweet treats! Also does cake count? I feel like there needs to be cake.
8. What would your pub be called?
If my other half had any say, it would be 'The Forgotten Elephant'. Remind me never to open a pub with him...
9. No.1 British person?
Kate Middleton. Or Colin Firth. They're both just so prim and proper and ooze sophistication and elegance and that is something I love the most about Brits!
10. Favourite shop / Restaurant?
Harrods, definitely! I've never been anywhere like it and it is so luxurious and magical and everything I love about London and Britain all in one place. My favourite restaurant has to be Manchester House, as it holds fond memories for me and my OH, and the food is to die for!
11. What British song pops into your head?
Wannabe by The Spice Girls haha! I don't think you can get any more British than that.
12. Marmite?
I've never tried it, but I don't think I want to!

I tag anyone to do this who hasn't already...
What are you favourite things about being British (or Britain if you're from overseas!) Let me know in the comments, and don't forget to follow me on Bloglovin to keep up to date with more posts!
Always, Alice x
