I don't know about you, but recently my skin has taken a real battering from the cold and I've found that I've had to work extra hard to keep it moisturised and looking clear. Mother bear blessed me with great skin genes so I rarely get spots or blemishes (although my eyes are fond of a horrific dark circle or two!) and I've always been able to get by in life by being very lazy with my skincare. Well not anymore folks, and it seems my skin has become a dry, scaly mess and now I no longer take a good skincare routine for granted...
It all starts with removing my makeup and I've been so incredibly impressed by the Garnier Micellar Water. I've had my first bottle for months and months and months now and I've only just had to repurchase for when I run out in the next week or so, but this little baby has been a godsend. I work late nights the majority of the time so can never be arsed to stand there too long and remove my makeup and this does it in just a couple of seconds! If I'm feeling really dedicated, I'll use my Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish afterwards to give my skin a real treat and remove any makeup I might have missed, and it gives me a gentle moisturise at the same time too.
After that I'll go onto moisturise and sort those dark circles out with a bit of eye cream! I've been loving the Benefit skincare range which I wrote a post about here, but I've been reverting back to my old Origins GinZing faves whilst I sort my snakeskin out!
Lastly, for on the go moisture I've been using the Along Came Betty Hands That Do Wishes hand cream which I carry in my handbag for everyday use. My all time favourite is the Lush one that I reviewed here, but for a handy little handbag treat, Hands That Do Wishes does the job and I've been using this constantly at the minute,

I love reading about skin care products and now skin is acting very weird right now as it's combination. I love the micellar water and I've been using it for about a year now and I still love it! The Sanctuary purifying wash is just amazing and I need to buy it again! x
