One Line A Day

Hello lovely people! I'm currently writing this tucked up in bed with a horrendous cold and I'm feeling super sorry for myself - cue lots of comfort food and warm cuddly clothes and lots of blog reading (please leave your links in the comments, I'd love to read your new posts!)
Is it just me who always seems to get ill on their day off? Not great...

Anyway, I wanted to share with you something that I have been loving over the last month since I bought it.
'One Line A Day' is a cute little blue memory journal (I got it from Amazon for only £8.39!) with a little twist. Inside there is a page for every day of the year, which is split up into 5 sections - one for every year that you decide to use this! The idea is that you only write a couple of sentences to describe your day or write down anything special that you want to remember, and then once the whole year is up, you start right back at the beginning and start filling it out again underneath and so on until the whole book is completed!

I first saw this for sale in Urban Outfitters and knew I had to have it! I am a sucker for making lists and scrapbooking and trying to document every little bit about my life so this was definitely the perfect purchase for myself. I love that at the end of the five years you can look back at what happened on a particular day a couple of years before, and all your memories are stored in one little book.

The great thing about this is that you can start the journal at any point of the year, rather than having to wait until January 1st!

I've been telling everyone who will listen about this as it would make a fab gift for anyone who loves all things sentimental. I've recently bought one for my best friend who is about to give birth to her little girl, so one day she can show her five years of memories that she has with her!

Always, Alice x

I have a really bad memory and can't even remember what I did last week.

  7. This is such a good idea, it’s the second time I’ve seen someone with it and I want it even more now. I used to have a diary and then just chucked it coz it was too long and never had time to go back again to read it over. With one liners it’ll be so much easier to revisit : )
