2015 Resolutions Progress...

New Years Resolutions...we all made them and I'm pretty sure most of us had the same ones - to get fit and healthy, be a brand new you yada yada yadaaaa - but do we actually stick to them?

January came and went in the blink of an eye and February's not far off, but I've still got my resolutions lingering in the back of my mind. Here's my post from back in January if you missed it! 

1. Get fit and healthy

I'm about halfway there with this one! I definitely feel much more healthier, and I've cut some things out of my diet (milk, white  bread and naughty free work fry-ups, I'm looking at you!)  and I'm substituted them with other things. I've been LOVING almond and soy milk, which sits a lot better on the tummy with me than cows milk and I've also been having granary bread which is so much more healthier as I struggled to cut bread out entirely! I also developed a slight, if not bordering on crazy, obsession with salmon. I think one week I actually had it pretty much every night for my dins which was not good for my salt intake! I'm definitely getting somewhere with my healthy eating but I've not quite managed to cut out my Saturday night chocolate binge just yet...

As for getting fit, I've taken up a little running since January and I've also started the gym! I'm feeling a lot more comfortable in my skin and my clothes seem to fit better which is great, and I've developed another new obsession...GYM CLOTHES! I've got a growing colletion and it really gets me motivated! I've even started 30 Days of Yoga with Adrienne at home, go me!

2. Eat breakfast EVERY DAY

Yeah, so this ain't really happening. I don't know about you but I literally cannot stomach a thing in a morning and I know it's the most important meal of the day and all that jazz but I really struggle to eat my breakfast first thing. I'm more of a brunch kinda gal! I've stocked up on porridge though, and am getting up earlier to go to the gym so it's definitey something I'm going to work on.

3. Get organised!

Now I definitely think I'm on the right track to being organised, especially blogging wise! I aim to post 6 days a week (generally my posts go live at 6pm, write it down y'all!) and I've been much more on top of my content and my social media. I'm loving taking part in blogger chats and I feel like I'm really settling into the blogging community. Onwards and upwards!

4. Read more

Again, I'm epically failing with my last resolution. I just don't have the time! If I'm not at work, I'm blogging and if I'm not blogging, well lets face it I'm probably asleep or stuffing my face so I haven't made much progress on this one (except for when I got about a quarter of the way through Gone Girl before I got impatient and watched the film instead). And that was the end of that...

  2. If you don't want to eat breakfast in the morning, you don't have to! Everybody is different and I don't see the need to eat if you can't stomach it!

  6. Oh wow no breakfast! I go crazy when I don't have it hahah! Maybe you can try it slowly and eat little things like fruit and work your way up :)
