So I know I'm about 4 days late but here are my November favourites!
This is the first time I've done a monthly favourites post, and it was incredibly hard trying to whittle down my top picks so that this didn't turn into a massive ramble but here we go...
Twinings Green Tea
Anyone who knows me knows I am obsessed with green tea! I prefer it to ordinary tea and even my beloved coffee doesn't compete with these particular badboys! I've been loving the Gingerbread flavour for the majority of the year to be quite honest, it smells and tastes beyond AMAAAZING and on top of that it's super healthy too! I recently picked up the Salted Caramel flavour after resisting it for some time and I was not disappointed! They're super tasty and perfect for those who want something festive but don't want to overindulge this christmas!
Lush 'New' Shampoo Bar and The Body Shop Coconut Hand Cream
These two little miracles have saved me this last month! After yet another trip into my local Lush I ended up coming away with one of the shampoo bars with the help of a very good salesman. It smells so cinnamon-y which is one of my favourite scents ever and it promised to make my hair super shiny and promote hair growth...but at around the £5 mark was it worth it? YES. In every way YES. My hair as never felt so good, and it's in the best condition it's ever been in! Sorry for the awful photo (it was once round), but it's been well-loved! It does get a bit messy but a handy tin like this one is great, and it lasts for ages!
As for The Body Shop hand cream, well what can I say other than everyone should buy one! I got it in little set with a matching lip balm for £7 and they are both incredible. I mostly use it over night and at work to soften up my pint-puller hands and it does the job almost instantly. Definitely a must-have as the cold winter months settle in.
Garnier Fresh Refining Toner
I only bought this in the last week of November and it easily made it's way into my favourites. I use it alongside the Micellar Water, and those as a combo work wonders! After removing my makeup, I put some of this on a cotton pad and sweep over my face and I can feel it working instantly! It smells strangely pleasant and it has made my face less spotty and much brighter and I love it! A bargain from Savers too, only £1.99!
NARS Sheer Glow and Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
Two products on different ends of the spectrum but I love them both! I was slow to the Sheer Glow bandwagon and after buying and trying I wasn't immediately impressed but it has definitely grown on me, especially combined with the Collection concealer! They compliment each other perfectly and my skin looks so flawless and healthy! My only criticism of Sheer Glow is that it doesnt come with a pump to get the product out and you have to just tip it straight out of the bottle but apart from that jobs a good un'!
Sleek Brow Kit
I wasn't sure about this when I purchased it either, but I cannot live without it now! My hair is a weird combination of brown and auburn and this kit magically finds an inbetween shade that matches my eyebrows to my hair perfectly, despite me thinking the palette was a bit light to start with. It comes with a wax and then a powder and little tweezers and brushes to perfect your look, but I love using mine with the Real Techniques Eyeliner Brush instead.
Lush Snow Fairy and Maybelline Color Tattoo 'On and On Bronze'
How could I do a favourites post without Snow Fairy? I've mentioned it in several posts already but I am still loving it and despite buying it at the start of November, I don't even think I'm 1/5 of the way through the medium sized bottle - and I use it everyday! It smells like pear drops and it lingers on your skin for so long after using it, making you feel so clean and yummy! A pricey one, yes, but by how long this has lasted me, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another!
And last but not least, I recently purchased the Maybelline Color Tattoo! I originally wanted this in the shade 'Bad to the Bronze' after hearing it raved about constantly by Essie Button but I had no such luck finding it unfortunately! This looked like a suitable substitute though, and I have been using it constantly! It's a fundamental part of my everyday makeup as I use it on it's own on the lid and it leaves a slight shimmer which is so pretty! It is a creamy consistency that turns slightly powdery when applied, which I love! Will definitely be investing in some more of these colours if I can find a bigger Maybelline counter!
